Monuments Men and Women Foundation's Founder and Chairman, Robert M. Edsel, has been invited by the Embassy of the Netherlands in the United States to serve as the keynote speaker for the Freedom Concert at the Netherlands Carillon in Washington, DC on May 5, 2025, at 4:00 PM.

This date marks the 80th anniversary of the end of Nazi occupation and full restoration of freedom to The Netherlands. In addition to remarks by the Ambassador and Mr. Edsel, there will be military bands, military equipment, the chimes of the carillon, and all sorts of treats courtesy of this important friend to the United States.
Held on Dutch Liberation Day, this annual event celebrates the anniversary of the Netherlands' freedom from Nazi occupation and honors the enduring friendship between our two nations. The 127-foot Netherlands Carillon, and its 53 bells, is a symbol of that bond.
Admission is free, but registration is required.
