Corporal D. A. Pascale

(?–?)

This name is included on a list of Monuments Men and Women compiled by Captain Edith A. Standen during her service in postwar Germany. According to the Report of the American Commission for the Protection and Salvage of Artistic and Historic Monuments in War Areas, Pascale was an American Monuments Man. Currently, the Foundation believe this individual to be D. A. Pascale, who was assigned to the MFAA Subcommission in Italy and assumed clerical duties for the regional MFAA advisers in Sicily in late November 1943. Pascale succeeded Monuments Man Corporal Nicholas J. Defino, the regional office’s previous clerk typist.

The Monuments Men and Women Foundation welcomes any information that might help to clarify the identity of this individual and further add to their biographical profile.
