Celia Dignam worked as a civilian secretary at the headquarters of the MFAA Section of the Control Commission for Germany (British Element) in Bünde, Germany. She transcribed notes and correspondence for the office’s head of section, Monuments Man Squadron Leader E. Christopher Norris. Dignam remained involved in restitution efforts until at least December 1947.
