Robin Hancock

Board Member

Robin Kayem Hancock is an anthropological gemologist, designer, curator and purveyor of fine antique and estate jewelry. She launched Robin Hancock Fine Jewelry in 1999 to bring concierge-level service and fine jewelry expertise to a loyal base of clients in Central Texas and across the country.

She is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a business and sociology degree. Post graduation, Robin studied the history of jewelry at Sotheby’s in London, and earned a Graduate Gemologist diploma from the Gemology Institute of America (GIA) . She has served as an Advisory Council Member at UT’s College of Fine Arts since 2010. Both of Robin's grandfathers fought in WWII, one as a German immigrant fighting for America. She is a member of the DAR.

Robin and her husband, Trey (El Campo), whose grandfather was a test pilot and flight instructor at Spartan School of Aviation during WWII, live in Austin, TX and have two adult children. The family spends most of their free time in Wilson, Wyoming and Rockport, Texas.
